We had a lovely stay at Iva’s place. The home is beautiful and the views are stunning. Iva and Vilma were such wonderful hosts. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

We have fully enjoyed our stay, it was perfect from the first minute in the house till the end. Not sure which comes first, the warmth of Iva and her mom or the beauty of this region and its beautiful scenery. I do not remember recently sleeping for uninterrupted 9 hours, but here was the case. Boravak u apartmanu je nadmašio naša očekivanja. Vlasnica nas je dočekala toplo i srdačno. Posebno nas je oduševila pažnja kojom su nas dočekali: na stolu nas je čekalo obilje proizvoda iz njihovog vrta i domaće proizvodnje. Apartman je bio čist, udoban i opremljen svime što je potrebno. Osjećali smo se kao kod kuće, a posebno uživali u miru i ljepoti okoline. Preporučujemo svima koji žele autentično iskustvo!
The place is fantastic and so was the host. Whole array of home produced / home made food and wine laid out for us and tasted great! We were made to feel really at home and wish we’d had longer to relax here. Would highly recommend! Lovely little private pool heated so comfortable to use. Really peaceful and short drive into Livade where you should try Zigante Truffle Restaurant and shop. We ate there twice! Short drive to Motovun hill town that the place overlooks with lots of bars and restaurants and Groznjan hill town is just up the road. Both beautiful and lots to explore.
Great little place, which was ideal for our family of four. The welcome of home grown vegetables, wine, sherry, eggs, milk, cheese, cold meats was exceptional and very kind. A very relaxing house with loads to do locally and within a close drive. The children loved Aqualandia, and the zip line at Pazin, both of which are well worth a visit and 2 minutes away. Motovun is also very close by, visible from the pool, and is truly a special town that has to be visited. Equally, loads of places on the west coast within 45-50 minutes which are great for day trips (Porec, Rovinj).
10 Sterne reichen nicht aus - es war alles großartig! Iva und ihre Mama sind fantastische Gastgeber. Die Lage war atemberaubend - die Aussicht einmalig. Wir wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen, Iva hat uns mit einem großen Gemüsekorb und allerlei anderen Leckerreien empfangen. Einmalig! Unser Hund war willenkommen und fühlte sich wohl und unsere 2 Kinder haben den privaten Pool genossen! Vielen herzlichen Dank für diese fantastischen Tage!
Alles! Perfect verzorgd, alles aanwezig. Prachtige ligging, uitzicht, zwembad. Uitmuntende host! Verse bloemen, verse producten werden voorzien, een prachtige verwelkoming en nog een geschenkje bij het weggaan. Wat een verwennerij. Iva was steeds bereikbaar en geen enkele vraag te veel 🙏
Zoveel redenen om nog eens terug te keren: ideale locatie om Istrië te verkennen (alles binnen 30-60min); prachtig uitzicht; privé-zwembad; alle comfort (bbq, keuken, goed bed, …). En dan nog de gastvrouwen (moeder en dochter): altijd bereikbaar, super vriendelijk, komen met verschillende attenties, bloemen in het huis, … Bedankt!
Wij verbleven er met onze twee tieners (12 en 15). Ons verblijf was zeer aangenaam. We kregen bij aankomst en heleboel lekkers aangeboden uit de tuin van Iva en haar familie 👌 Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw! Mooie locatie om Istrië te ontdekken. Geweldig huisje! Zeker een aanrader
Ord kan inte beskriva hur varmt välkomnade vi kände oss av Iva. Hon, tillsammans med sin familj, var underbara värdar - genuina och generösa. Vistelsen gav oss allt och lite till, vi har känt oss bortskämda och tacksamma över att vi fick möjlighet att besöka denna fridfulla och vackra plats. Vi ser redan fram emot att komma tillbaka! Ett stort tack från oss för denna gång! ❤️
Vi hade härliga dagar i huset! Fin pool och härligt hus. Iva hade ordnat fint med mat och vin som välkomnade oss. Vi skulle gärna komma tillbaka, tack!
Sehr sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und herzliche Familie. Kein Wunsch blieb offen. Es war alles blitz blank sauber inklusive dem Poolbereich. An Ausstattung war alles vorhanden. Iva ist jederzeit erreichbar. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen und werden wiederkommen.
Iva’s property was beautiful and of a high standard, the bed was comfy, the shower was good and the views were amazing. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the pool being fully shaded by midafternoon. We were blown away by the warm welcome we received and Iva’s generosity, she provided a lovely little platter of food for us and homemade cake when we arrived late and fresh produce. Thank you again Iva, what a lovely touch. The property is ideally placed for exploring the area and Iva provided us with some great recommendations of places to visit. I would highly recommend this property, we loved it and were wowed by the area.
Iva’s place is peaceful with a beautiful view. Location is close to many places to visit in Istria. Wonderful to start and end the day with a plunge in the pool. We really appreciated being able to make a big breakfast with fresh eggs and vegetables.
Eine absolute Empfehlung!! Iva ist super nett und hat viele Tipps für die Gegend. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft schön, sauber und super gut ausgestattet! Iva’s Familie stellte uns als Willkommensgeschenk eigenen Käse, Wein, Wurst, Eier, Gemüse und noch viel mehr selbstgemachte Produkte von ihrem Hof kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das ist außergewöhnlich Gastfreundlich! Insgesamt eins der besten Airbnbs in dem ich bisher war! Vielen Dank!! 😊
Host prepared us a plate with some nice local food from their local garden, including vegetables and eggs, but also some wine and olive oil. It was an awesome touch to an amazing stay!

Everything was great. Super nice and friendly hosts. Quiet location great for switching off from everyday rush, but still only minutes away from the attractions.
Wir haben uns sofort in der Unterkunft wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es war alles sehr nett und herzlich aber nie aufdringlich. Wir bekamen frische Eier, Gemüse, Speck, Käse und Wein aus dem hauseigenen Garten. Gut war auch, dass wir unser Auto elektrisch in der Garage der Unterkunft aufladen konnten. Insgesamt: toll! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
Perfekt für 2 Personen od eine Familie mit einem Kind. Der eigene kleine Pool ist wirklich toll, auch wenn es bei unserem Aufenthalt leider schon etwas zu kühl war (Ende Oktober). Aber wir hoffen, dass wir zu einem wärmeren Zeitpunkt noch.als wiederkommen können. Uns wurde auch ein Korb voller frischem Gemüse bereitgestellt, was wirklich toll war!
I had an amazing stay! The location is absolutely beautiful, and the host was incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. They gave fantastic recommendations and were always quick to respond to any questions. There’s so much to explore in the area, with the coast less than a 30-minute drive away and plenty of charming towns nearby to visit. I can’t wait to return! (:
THE BEST!!!! This was my favorite stay in Istria! I had an incredibly warm welcome from Iva! It was easy to check in, the instructions were clear, and the place was amazing! I was welcomed with lots of farm fresh produce and products. It was amazing! The house itself is so charming, and in the best location. It has a beautiful view overlooking Motovun. It was stocked with eveathing I needed and more. The recommendations, advice, and help (especially when my tire popped) were wonderful. By far, my greetest experience was meeting the family and getting to help with the olive harvesting. It was an incredible experience! I felt like family and I will always have this beautiful memory!! Thank you soooo much!! Not only will I continue to recommend this for friends to stay here, but I will be back! With depest gratitude and lots of love!
Było to jedno z najpiękniejszych miejsc jakie miałem okazje odwiedzić. Widoki z tarasu są powalające, a jeśli zechcecie obudzić się na wschód słońca to na pewno na długo tego nie zapomnicie. Dodatkowo gościnność na najwyższym poziomie oraz zaopatrzenie mieszkania lepsze niż oczekiwałem. Cudo!
We got a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits als a welcome gift and also a farewell present. For us an obvious sign that Iva is very keen at ensuring your stay is very pleasant!

Liebe Iva, Liebe Vilma, wir haben in eurer Ferienwohnung eine super schöne und erholsame Zeit verbracht. Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl und wie zu Hause fühlen können. Vielen Dank für den herzlichen Empfang von Vilma und die leckeren Produkte mit welchen wir von Euch zur Begrüßung und zwischendurch immer wieder versorgt wurden. Eure Ferienwohnung ist richtig toll und perfekt ausgestattet. Den Pool haben wir mit den Kindern sehr genossen, abends und bis in die Nacht war dieser wunderschön beleuchtet. Die Abende auf der Terrasse waren wie der ganze Urlaub bei Euch einfach traumhaft. Wir haben noch nie eine Ferienwohnung gehabt welche so perfekt und mit allem ausgestattet war. Die Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft ist einmalig. Herzlichen Dank für unseren schönen Aufenthalt und wir sehen uns bestimmt einmal wieder.

We had an absolute wonderfull time and wished we had stayed longer. The host is super kind, gave us a very warm welcome with vegetables from the garden, wines and snacks. The house itself is super cute, the view from the upper terrace amazing and the swimmingpool an absolute treat. We can highly recommend this beautiful place.
Privitanie bolo velmi priatelske a prijemne, miesto sme nasli rychlo. Okolie ponuka naozaj ticho a vyborne sukromie, kde clovek dokaze uzasne zrelaxovat. Bazen je vyborny, kde sa clovek moze stale schladit a ani nepotrebuje ist k moru. Hostitel bol velmi priatelsky a napomocny. Bol taktiez pohostinny a flexibilny, ked sme sa chceli dohodnut na inych casoch pre odubytovanie.
What a lovely place and a perfect host. We were greeted with a basket full of goodies fresh from the farm. Only regret is not having more time to stay here.
Die Unterkunft ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Sie sieht in Wirklichkeit noch schöner aus, als auf den Fotos. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist ein Traum, man konnte sich kaum sattsehen. Alles machte einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck und die Ausstattung war perfekt. Es ist wirklich an alles gedacht worden. Zudem gab es einen wunderbaren Empfang mit regionalen Speisen und Getränken. Iva und ihre Mama waren stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und einfach liebenswert. Wir hatten so eine wunderbare Zeit bei ihnen, so dass die Zeit (leider) wie im Fluge verging. Alles in allem einfach ein erstklassiges Erlebnis. Iva, mach so weiter! :) Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl gefühlt.
Lovely place! It was quiet and surrounded by beautiful rolling green hills which provided the exact restful experience we were looking for! This was also a convenient location for exploring central Istria. Iva was lovely, and provided a seamless check in that made us feel very welcome!
Prekrasan smještaj s pogledom na Motovun. Domaćini su bili iznimno ljubazni, dočekali su nas s domaćim proizvodima i učinili da se osjećamo kao doma. Bazen je čist i cijelo prijepodne ga obasjava sunce. Imaju domaće životinje što je posebno razveselilo našu kćer. Hvala vam Iva i Vilma i vidimo se opet :)

Alles war perfekt. Das Haus ist geräumig und wunderschön eingerichtet, der Ausblick auf Motovun genial. Wir wurden von Iva und ihrer Mutter mit hausgemachten Spezialitäten versorgt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
You can really feel the effort the family puts into making your stay an experience. The house is super clean and offers everything you need. It is really cosy and you immediately have this kind of home feeling. Although we arrived a bit late the welcome was great with a lot of amazing home made products. The whole stay felt a bit like the best you can expect plus a little bit extra on top of it. A place to recommend to your real friends :)
Incredibly warm welcome by our gracious and generous host Iva. She provided us with a basketful of tasty home-made and garden-based seasonal goodies. The house is rustic, but adorably cute and decorated with care, and has all the amenities and equipment you could wish for. The views are spectacular, the countryside is beautiful, and at night the silence is almost deafening. We came because of the truffle season, but discovered that there is plenty to do if you use the house as a base for excursions: to the pittoresque hilltop villages if Motovun or Groznjan, to bike or hike the Parenzana (decommissioned railway line) or even to Rovinj, Porec, Rijeka (only an hour or so away). And there is always the refreshing pool to come back to. It really is worth while staying longer! Highly recommended!
Iva’s house was well-equipped, clean and calm. The location is perfect for someone who wants to enjoy their own space and explore Motovun ans Istra. Communication with Iva was easy and hassle free, and she was always availabe if we had some questions regarding the house or the area. There was also a little welcoming basket full of their farm’s products, which made the stay even more special. Also, the pool with a view to Motovun was lovely. A huge recommendation, if you’re heading to Istra.

Smještaj je bio odličan, točno ono što smo tražili, na selu, mir i tišina sa puno privatnosti , grijani bazen, besprijekorno čisto i naš domaćin nas je dočekao sa stolom punog hrane i pića...košarom domaćeg povrća, platom sa pršutom i sirom uz domaći kruh, jaja... .... izuzetna gesta i predivna dobrodošlica!!! Ako želite odmor s predivnim pogledom na Motovun i nebo puno zvijezda , topla preporuka.

Wir waren mit unserer 7 jährigen Tochter und einjährigen Zwillingen für 2 Tage dort. Es war einfach traumhaft schön und Iva ist unglaublich nett. 2 Tage waren einfach zu kurz. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön und die Unterkunft ebenfalls. Iva hat uns unglaublich viele Köstlichkeiten von ihrem Bauernhof hingestellt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schön am Hang gelegen, toller Blick auf Motovun, zwei Terrassen davon eine mit Pool, sehr gute Ausstattung und sehr individuelle Raumaufteilung (gut geschnitten) über zwei Etagen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr gastfreundlich, Begrüßung mit vielen selbstgemachten Produkten (Gemüsekorb, Wurst, Käse, Wein) sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Nutzung der Garage als Stellplatz ist möglich.

it was an extremely cozy and well-kept accommodation. Upon check-in, a surprise awaited with local delicacies from the farm. Iva was both friendly and flexible with many good tip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Zelo vredno obiska! razgled je neverjeten. Edino, če želite uporabljati bazen predlagam obisk poleti, saj je prehladno za ogrevanje bazena na uporabno temperaturo v katerem drugem poletnem času. Zagotovo se vrnemo.
Everything here was wonderful - authentic & gorgeous apartment, spotlessly clean, wonderful views, fully stocked with everything you’d need & a housewarming gift basket. Plus, Iva was a life saver- we got a parking ticket and our car got booted. Despite us being in a town an hour away and it being after hours (9pm), Iva was able to call someone and they were there in 15 min to remove the boot! She saved the day! Also, the location is great if you have a car- 5min to the Michelin list Restaurant Zigante and the highly rated Ipsa olive oil. I highly recommend this wonderful holiday home.

The apartment is exactly as pictured, described and reviewed - it's a lovely, rustic, spacious home with a kind and generous host. The welcome basket of home-grown products was plentiful and delicious. The view to Motovun was magical, and the balcony provides the perfect place to enjoy an evening glass of wine with an incredible view of the Istrian country-side.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay near Motovun - book this place. The view of Motovun is incredible, you’re a short drive from any of the nearby towns - and the property is so beautiful and serene. The hosts are SO kind and welcoming, they even gave us fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses, etc from their farm and made us feel right at home. Would book this place again in an instant. This place met all our expectations and we left it with relaxed with wonderful memories. Iva, Vilma and Emil are great hosts and have been easy to reach with any asks or questions, while giving us the space we needed. The house is equipped in everything you may need for a long stay. It is clean, comfortable and has a remarkable charm. It has a dishwasher and washing machine, great kitchen and two bathrooms. Wifi working very good, Garage keeping the car safe from any bad weather. We loved it and we’d recommend it to anyone.
Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir wurden ganz lieb durch Emils Tochter empfangen, die uns mit tollen Produkten aus der eigenen Landwirtschaft überraschte. Wir hatten außerdem noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Küche und auch die anderen Räume liesen keine Wünsche offen. Emil und seine Frau haben hier wirklich ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Emil stand uns den gesamten Aufenthalt mit hilfreichen Tips zur Seite. Kurzum, es war alles perfekt.
Wir sind eine 4-köpfige Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) und haben 2 Wochen Urlaub gemacht. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Es war alles perfekt und sehr liebevoll vorbereitet. Das Haus, die Lage und der unglaubliche Ausblick von der Terrasse, sind noch schöner, als es auf den Fotos aussieht und wir haben uns gleich leckere selbstgemachte Sachen von Emils Familie (die schon bereit standen) schmecken lassen. Es gibt in der Umgebung viel zu sehen und zu unternehmen und man kann mit dem Auto alles gut erreichen. Uns hat es allen ausgesprochen gut gefallen, wir sind total erholt, haben vor auf jeden Fall wieder zu kommen und können einen Urlaub dort nur empfehlen .
We, my husband, our two children, 4 and 10 years old, and I, had a great time in Emil's holiday home. He lives right next door and is always available for questions. The view into the valley and to Motovun is great. Our children especially loved the private pool.
We really enjoyed these few days in Emil’s house. The children loved the swiming pool and We really appreciate the view of this quite and peaceful place, espacially in this crowded period. The house is beautiful as on the picture. Thanks Emil and also to your wife for the lovely attentions.
We spent a week at Emils appartment and had a great time. The appartement has everything you need, was very clean and spacious. Emil welcomed us with wine, cheese and meat and also provided us with fresh vegetables and eggs. We took a few trips to Motovun, Rovinj abd Porec. The pool was very nice to cool down. Definetly a nice place to stay!
Das kleine Haus von Emil & Vilma ist ein ganz besonderer Ort, der für immer einen Platz in unseren Herzen haben wird. Man spürt, dass dieser Ort geliebt wird und mit viel Umsicht gebaut, geplant und eingerichtet wurde. Emil & Vilma sind herzliche Gastgeber und einfach sehr nette Menschen. Vom Bett über den Herd, das Geschirr, das Bad mit Waschmaschine, die Klimaanlagen, die Sitzmöbel bis zu dem wunderschönen Pool – alles ist sehr wertig, mit Bedacht ausgesucht und toll ausgestattet. Und der Blick von der Terrasse auf Motovun ist einfach so schön! Wir wissen es sehr zu schätzen, dass ihr euren Platz mit uns geteilt habt. Und danke, dass auch unser kleiner Hund willkommen war. Es wäre schön, wiederzukommen!

Prekrasna autentična Istarska kuća i selo. Divan pogled na okolnu prirodu i Motovun. Domaćini uvijek na raspolaganju, pristupačni i simpatični. Dočekali nas sa domaćim proizvodima i platom, te pozdravili s poklonima…. Svaka preporuka!
