Great location for getting everywhere. Very clean and well accommodated. Only comment to be aware of is the noise levels and the various church bells going off from 6am. Otherwise great charming spot, highly recommend.

The flat is beautiful and even more spacious than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and everything was spotless. Check in was smooth and our check in agent was extremely responsive. The only problem we had was the city bells, which rang every day at 7 and 7:15 am, and sometimes at 8, 9, 10 as well. Not a problem at all for early risers, but even earplugs will not shield you from the noise. We also had some street noise late at night and early mornings. (This issue would equally apply to any apartment in the vicinity, so it almost feels a bit unfair to flag in this review, but do be aware that the Old Town is not for late or light sleepers.)

The location is fantastic, just inside the walls of the palace. There is a roof top terrace on which to sit and view the city. Note that the apartment is up three flights of stairs and there is no elevator. The bedrooms and living area are a good size, better than most. It was very clean. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other 2 twins. There are two full bathrooms just outside the bedrooms. The kitchen has a refrigerator and a freezer. (You can make ice cubes.) There is a washer/dryer all in one. The host met us there.

Kristina’s assistant/manager, Ivana, was very helpful. The place was clean and as advertised. If you arrive late just know there might not be any coffee, paper towels or other essentials however there are 2 markets a short walk away. The location is excellent. In the Old Town but on the edge so quick access to ferries, trains, etc. As with many places in Croatia there are considerable steps to the apt once in the building however very few to get to apt building itself. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Ivana was a wonderful host and her responsiveness really made a difference in our experience. The apartment was very clean and nice. The entry to the building is not as nice as the place so don’t let that make you nervous. We did have a scary experience in which the downstairs neighbor was aggressively banging our door and ringing the doorbell at a late hour despite not much noise being made. Be aware of this if you choose to book this place as we (a group of young girls) we very scared.
