A beautiful apartment in Split Old Town. The apartment is stunning and built into the walls of the fortress. Great location fir exploring Split. Toni, the host, is fantastic and had many tips for exploring the city and surrounds. Highly recommended and we would stay again!

My husband and I really enjoyed Toni’s place while staying in Split. It was easy to walk everywhere. Toni met us when we checked in which was very thoughtful and helped us to get oriented to our location. The apartment is right inside the old town (no cars) which works out well as it is only a very short distance to pull your luggage if a taxi drops you off. At the end of our stay, we also pulled our luggage to the port and that was very doable. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Toni’s place had a lot of thoughtful touches to make one’s stay more pleasant. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower. If I was ever in Split again, I would most certainly stay here.

Our flight was delayed and Tony was willing and able to meet us at anytime. We keep in contact with each other and he was there to greet us with a big smile, and to show us around!

Toni is an amazing host, the apartment is fabulous, original walls in the amazing bathroom and with shutter and windows closed the apartment becomes a wonderful place to sleep despite being right in the heart of the action. A stay in split is not complete without staying at the Golden Palace

The property was very stylish where old meets new. Beautifully and sensitively renovated. Right in the heart of old town Spilt which was hugely convenient. Tony was available at all times if needed. His attention to detail was out of this world. He met us at the property and showed us everything within. There is nothing this property does not have. I would recommend this property to anyone that wishes to stay in old town Split. Immaculately clean and beautiful.
Location was top notch and amazingly quiet. It was well appointed, furniture, bathroom was beautiful and modern.
The location inside the Palace walls was awesome! The host left a phone so we could call and ask questions... which we did a couple of times. They met us at the Uber dropoff point to show us where the apartment was... very nice! Very responsive prior to our arrival with answering questions. With closed shutters at night, it was very quiet and we slept well here. Nothing to complain about!

Lovely apartment within the walls of Diocletian Palace, beautifully fitted out and well equipped. So close to everything, sights, bars and restaurants, very comfortable. Communication was excellent especially with information on parking in Split and directions to the apartment.

Toni’s place was lovely. It was clean, the location was ideal, and the palace wall in the bathroom was super cool! Toni was helpful and responded quickly when we had a question. He helped arrange a car to take us to the airport for a very early flight. Highly recommend.

This is an amazing apartment! It is perfectly located to mean everything is within walking distance and whilst you are literally within Golden Palace as soon as you close the door the apartment is a perfect little sanctuary. The bed is extremely comfortable and the air conditioning is great. The kitchen is well equipped and bathroom feels like a luxury hotel.
Die Lage war ideal fü alle Unternehmungen in der Stadt. Der Vermieter hat uns bei der Parkplatzsuche perfekt unterstützt, was in Split nicht wirklich einfach ist. Sehr wertige und geschamckvolle Ausstattung, da gibt’s wirklich nichts zu verbessern.
Absolute must stay here! The apartment is right in centre of Split, above bar/restaurant. Triple glazed windows which made the apartment so quiet. Very clean. Bathroom is stunning and insane. would highly recommend
Toni’s place was awesome! We only had one night there before we flew out of Split. It was a wonderful oasis for the day. He gave great directions to the apartment. He was also helpful with resturant recommendations. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Toni!
We had an outstanding stay, everything was perfect We had very worm welcome from owner Toni he was vey supportive on any thing we need , my family really enjoyed the new & clean property , myself I enjoyed the amazing music sound system
First off, we are hosts in the states so I’m super picky. We have a luxury high end rental in the states and trust me when I tell you this Airbnb exceeded my expectations. The location is quite honestly the BEST. It was a very short walk inside the gate. It’s a very busy area and the windows and doors were insulated, we heard nothing - great sleeping after a tiring day of running around. The air conditioning was THE BEST, THE COLDEST you can imagine - my husband was in heaven. The bathroom was gorgeous, the interior design is exceptional, great water pressure. The kitchen was so well appointed, everything you could want or need. So glad we stayed here instead of a hotel. I cannot stress enough how perfect the location is. Just Wow!!! Toni you are an amazing host and we really enjoyed meeting you!

We had an amazing stay here- location was great, host was attentive. Would recommend this place! Night life is amazing but the shutters/windows cancel all noise out for a great nightsleep!
Location is amazing, inside the Palace walls, either the bars and restaurants on the door step. Incredible feature wall in the bathroom dating back 1700 years. Excellent AC. The triple glazed windows allowed for very peaceful sleep.

Great location in the old town. Small but really comfortable apartment for 2 people, probably a 10 minute walk to the port and within the old town of Split. Communication from the owner (Toni) was excellent. We would highly recommend this property for a stay in Split.

It was wonderful to stay within the historic Old Town of Split, surrounded by historic attractions as well as restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment blends rustic charm with modern decor - the stone wall in the bathroom is the back of the actual city wall, which is hundreds of years old!! The apartment is compact but really well appointed. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were helpful and responsive. We loved Split!

Beautiful place! We loved the original wall to the city featured in the bathroom, we also loved the way the apartment smelled. Toni is very responsive and made check in/check out seamless. This is a great location with many great restaurant options just steps away. Thanks for a memorable stay!
Everything about the apartment exceeded expectations. The host was great and gave a ton of recommendations to visit and eat. We arrived late at night when restaurants were closed, but he walked us around to ensure we got something to eat.
The property was in an outstanding location ( inside the Diocletian Palace) and was roomy and very clean. Tony, the host was also so helpful and nice! He gave great tips on what to see and where to eat! A wonderful stay!

Toni’s place in Diocletian’s palace was wonderful. The location is perfectly situated where you are set back from the crowds, yet within feet of all the shops and sights. Toni was great to coordinate with, and the place was comfortable and quiet. Absolutely recommend this place if you are coming to Split.

Wonderful location inside the walls of the palace. Our host, Toni was incredible. He met us at the car free entrance to the walled Palace and drove us through the winding city streets to find a free parking spot for the duration of our stay. Such incredible customer service! Next, he showed us to our beautiful room and spent an hour orienting us to the walled city, with suggestions of the best things to see and do, along with restaurant recommendations. Because of this, we had the most wonderful experience in Split. We can without reservation highly recommend the Golden Palace, and our wonderful host, Toni!
If you are reading our review stop now and book Toni’s property. It is perfectly located in the old city on a quiet street. The property had all the amenities we would ever need plus more. It’s obvious that a great deal of thought was put into every detail. Toni’s local knowledge was very helpful. He pointed us in the right direction for restaurants, shopping and activities so we didn’t waste time wandering around. He personally checked us in and out and arranged transportation to the airport. What a beautiful place to stay in the palace in Split. Toni was incredibly helpful get us the information we need to check into the apartment. And boy, the place is stunning. Beautiful decor, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Even though the apartment is in the palace, the apartment is incredibly quiet. And you are in the center of everything. This one should not be missed. We had a great time.

This property is just perfect! We stayed just for one night with our daughter. The owners took care of every single detail decorating this apartment, and it truly feels like 5 star hotel: from the apartment design, quality materials used, amenities, cleanliness, comfort bed to apartment scent and sound system with lounge music. The location couldn’be better, and even being in the city centre, it is so soundproofed that you will sleep like a baby ( we always look for a quiet room even when travelling without kids). Look no further when in Split if you want to feel like at home:) Not to mention that you are actually sleeping within Dioclecian palace walls as a bathroom wall is an original one, 1.700 years old!

The place itself is very unique. Fully renovated to high standards and features an exposed wall from the Palace! The owner, Toni, put a huge amount of work and thought into every detail and it shows. Stay here for sure, unlikely you will find anything like it in Split!

First Toni is a great host who is fluent in English and proactively communicated and helped us with everything from finding the place to carrying our bags and finding parking to showing us where convenience stores are. This place had the best of both worlds, old charm (beautiful bathroom wall) with modern amenities. Rain shower was great and every detail was well done. Bedding was hotel grade sheets. We had a great time! First time in Croatia and we were really touched by how kind and warm all Croatians are.
Fantastic stay at Toni’s apartment, even more gorgeous than it looks in pictures! Bed was so comfortable, pillows amazing, water pressure in the shower was so great. Everything spotless when we arrived. Had aircon which was fab in summer. Very quiet even though in the middle of the old town and close to everything. Highly recommend

Amazing little apartment in a fantastic location. Its not huge, but Toni has done such an amazing job of renovating the place, you feel like its moreso a large 5star hotel room. Golden Palace was the perfect place to stay for our time in Split. Toni was more than helpful. He arranged for a transfer from the airport for us and was waiting for us upon arrival. He walked us to and through the apartment and made sure we knew and had all we needed. The location is outstanding and easily walkable to all the shops, restaurants, and historic markers in Old Town. There are a handful of steps to get into the apartment, but they were easy and even my mom, who doesn't do great with a lot a stairs, did just fine. The place was extremely clean and offered more amenities than we expected. The layout is comfortable and offered separate places to sit, sleep, relax, and get ready. We would stay here again and would highly recommend you stay here too.
