This double room in Polače offers a cozy and peaceful stay on the scenic island of Mljet, Croatia. Room is situated in family-owned guesthouses and it features comfortable bedding, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and a beautiful balcony with sea view. Located near the calm bay and close to Mljet National Park, Polače provides easy access to beautiful nature, hiking trails, and local restaurants for a relaxing island retreat.

Private parking is also available per request while making a reservation.
Nearest restaurant is from the welcoming hosts, right near the guesthouse, called Mar Mar. There you can enjoy in typical Mediterranean food with the freshest ingredients! Grocery store is just 4 minute distance from the property. Beautiful beach Paljevina is also really close, just 7 minute walk.
While on Mljet, you can't miss the opportunity to visit National Park which is only 5 minute drive from the property! You can also rent bikes from our kind hosts and have a lovely picturesque ride to the National Park.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 gg per le vacanze a fine agosto ed è stato tutto fantastico. La camera era assolutamente confortevole e pulita con un balcone che dava direttamente sulla baia, un vero spettacolo!!! I gestori sono stati meravigliosi, hanno assecondato ogni richiesta con il sorriso. Sotto c'è il loro ristorante nel quale abbiamo mangiato tutte le sere in quanto lo Chef Toni ci ha sempre deliziato con degli ottimi piatti. Che aggiungere, super raccomandato.
Wonderful, warm and welcoming hosts made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. Whole family is taking great care of all the guests. We also enjoyed fantastic food and one of a kind olive oil at affordable prices.
Don’t stay anywhere else but here! The most humble, perfect stay! This is a family run apartments, with their restaurant underneath. The host family greeted us on arrival, helping us with our bags to the room and allowing us to check in early too! They are genuine people. The room itself was immaculately clean, the beds were comfy and the balcony was lovely too. The family restaurant is always busy- really reasonable prices & fresh, tasty meals! Location: It was about 5 mins to cycle into the national park with an e-bike- I’d say 15 on a push bike. It was about 10 mins from the ferry port. (€6 per person in a taxi). The best place to stay & eat in Mljet! Thank you, thank you, thank you for hosting us!
Wonderful place to enjoy the peaceful town of Polace. The room was perfect, nicely decorated, clean and, the cherry of the top, a balcony with an amazing view of the whole bay just for yourself. The family was really nice too, they communicated in advance and helped us throughout the stay. They have a restaurant downstairs, and the food there is amazing - try the black risotto, one of the best I have ever tried. Plus, Mljet is such a lovely place. Definitely I'd return there.
We loved everything about our stay at Aparthotel Palma. The island is absolutely gorgeous and the location within the natural reserve was stunning. Jelena and her family worked so hard (running a hotel during the day and a restaurant downstairs during the evenings) to make our stay comfortable and provided everything we asked for. They were so nice and made our stay very memorable.

Profesionalni i jako ljubazni domacini, stalno prisutni, a nenametljivi. Odlican restoran, najbolji u mjestu s izvrsnom lokalnom hranom.

Tout ! La propriétaire était adorable, souriante et très disponible en cas de besoin. On a eu un accueil très chaleur. Le logement était très propre et confortable. Nous avions pris le studio standard mais pour les personnes qui prennent une des chambres avec balcon, vous avez une très belle vue sur la mer. Le logement possède en plus une petite terasse ombragée sur le côté, accessible à tous. En-dessous du logement se trouve le restaurant tenu par la propriétaire et sa famille. On y mange très bien et les prix sont raisonnables par rapport à la plupart des autres restaurants. L'emplacement à Polaçe est paisible et en face du parking privé, se trouve un petit escalier qui vous permet de descendre au plus près de l'eau, de vous y installer et de vous baigner au calme
Le logement est situé sur notre port d'arrivée sur l'île et tout près du parc national. La chambre est très facile à trouver sur le port, la vue est merveilleuse. Tout parait neuf dans cette chambre et cette salle de bain. Le balcon est parfait pour 2 personnes. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et très bien renseignés au cours du séjour. Merci à notre hôtesse pour sa gentillesse et son sourire.
Super-friendly and helpful host, excellent HQ for exploring the National Park, perfect even just for staying in. The attached restaurant has great food (highlights: minestrone, garlic bread, octopus salad) at even greater prices. The beach is nearby and you can even get a discount on renting e-bikes. We couldn't have been happier with our choice!
The apartment was very clean and the host Jelena was very kind and helpful.
L'appartamento è grande e arredato con gusto e stile. Molto funzionale, c'è tutto quello che serve e nulla di superfluo. Area condizionata sia nell'area giorno che in quella notte con impianto modernissimo: opzioni facile da impostare e splitter silenziosi. Il balcone si affaccia sul mare regalando una vista stupenda e rilassante. È al sole nel pomeriggio, ma si può sfruttare per tutti i pasti della giornata. A Polače comunque ci sono ottimi posti in cui fare cena, anche proprio sotto casa: quando si arriva in strada è difficile resistere ai profumi della cucina veramente invitanti! La zona è molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Il parcheggio è comodissimo. Jelena e la sua famiglia ci hanno trattato in modo splendido.

Fantasticna lokacija, pogled, novouredena soba. Ljubazna vlasnica sa pristojnom djecom. Kuca zaista prostrana i prilagodena gostima.

Kamer op een prachtige locatie in een klein havendorpje. Vanuit de kamer werkelijk een prachtig uitzicht zoals te zien is op de foto's! Het appartement was even zoeken. Google Maps geeft het niet helemaal goed aan, omdat het straatnummer niet klopte. Met snel contact van de host konden we het vinden. Kamer was over het algemeen netjes en opgeruimd, wij hadden alleen last van kleine vliegjes die via het badkamerraam binnen kwamen. We konden het badkamerraam ook niet volledig gesloten houden. Top locatie met een top host, zeker een aanrader als je voor een kort verblijf op Mljet bent.
It was very very clean. It's a family business and you can see them working very hard from early morning till night as they also have a restaurant. Their restaurant was one of the best in the little town, good prices , good simple home food.
Idéalement situé. Chambre très propre. Balcon avec vue mer 😍 Volets pour dormir dans le noir. Calme absolu ! Propriétaire adorable qui nous a laissé rentrer dans le chambre à 11h30 au lieu de 14h. Bien pratique lorsqu’on arrive chargés du ferry. À 30 mn à pied du lac salé (chouette balade) Le restaurant MarMar au rdc (également aux propriétaires) est excellent. Gros coup de cœur pour cet endroit et pour Polače ❤️
Hôtel charmant, très bien situé pour visiter le parc national, à seulement quelques minutes à pied. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, accueillants et toujours disponibles en cas de besoin, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. La vue du balcon est magnifique ! Leur restaurant, juste en dessous des chambres, est une belle surprise : plats frais, savoureux, avec des produits de qualité. Une très bonne adresse si vous passez par Mljet !

Udobna i čista soba.
Izvrstan smještaj na mirnoj lokaciji s fantastičnim domaćinima. Soba izuzetno čista(nikad u čišćem apartmanu nismo odsjeli, a čistoća nam je prioritet), nedavno renovirana sa svim sadržajima. U našoj sobi nije bilo balkona, ali je zato pogled s prozora nenadmašiv. Jelena i Antun izuzetno ljubazni, kao i cijela njihova obitelj. Dapače, osjećali smo se kao doma. Hvala im na cjelokupnom dojmu i definitivno se vraćamo ovom smještaju!
Great stay at the Apartment Palma. The owners are so sweet and friendly. They also have a small restaurant downstaira - all the food was very good and delicious. Highly recommend!!
Location was excellent. Host was gracious and easy to work with. Room had an amazing view, right on the water, and the family restaurant downstairs was the best meal I've had in Croatia. Plates and silverware were available, so we were able to make some salads in the room The AC was so nice after a long day of hiking. Her son was helpful in getting ideas about locations in the park.

Der Balkon hatte einen schönen Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und auch flexibel, als ich mein Gepäck vorher zwischenlagern wollte. Das Restaurant am Eingang der Unterkunft - wohl auch von den Gastgebern betrieben - ist auch sehr gut und zu empfehlen!

Si je reviens sur l'île, c'est sûr que je reviens au Palma...une superbe vue de la chambre et un grand calme ...je serais bien restée plus longtemps
We had an amazing week in Apartments Palma with my husband. The area is beautiful, the apartment is well reachable. The host family is super helpful and charming. Their restaurant downstairs is also very very good. Our room was modern and clean.
Amazing location, view from balcony was even more charming than on the pictures! This area is in our opinion the best on island because it’s calmer and less crowded than Pomena and also beautiful hiking roads starts just right next to property. This national park is one of most beautiful places we’ve ever been, swimming in lakes was one of highlights. Property was clean and we were very happy with our stay. Thank you!

Lokacija je predivna, vrlo je udobno i čisto, balkon je pun pogodak. Zajednička mini kuhinja je sasvim dovoljna za kafu, čaj, užinu.

Mooi appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. We konden eerder in het appartement omdat de ferry 3 uur voor de gebruikelijke incheck tijd in de haven arriveerde wat heel fijn was. Ik kan het appartement aanraden.
Camera di dimensioni ridotte ma arredata in modo moderno e funzionale. Ottima pulizia. Balconcino con vista mare sulla baia di Polace. Luogo tranquillo e riposante seppur nel mese di agosto e nonostante sia un porto turistico frequentato. Gentilissimi i proprietari che gestiscono anche il ristorante a piano terra, dove vale certamente la pena di fermarsi a cenare. La spiaggetta appena fuori paese consente bagni comodi a chiunque. Un'ottimo punto d'appoggio per visitare Mljiet.
Notre hôte a été absolument adorable. Souriante, avcueillante, disponible et toujours prête à aider ! Le logement, très propre et fonctionnel, était idéalement situé, dans le charmant village de Polace, à dix minutes en voiture de l’entrée du sublime Parc de Mljet. Tous les logements n’ont pas de vue mer, mais le logement est situé au bord de l’eau et dispose d’une terrasse : vous pouvez donc profiter de la plage pas loin où déguster un café le matin dans un cadre idyllique. Un autre énorme avantage est la place de parking gratuite mise à disposition. Pour parfaire le tout, notre hôte gère également un restaurant familial juste en dessous des logements. Un restaurant qui sert de la très bonne cuisine toute simple, avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Déguster de bonnes crêpes en appréciant la vue sur la mer, les baigneurs, un plaisir que je n’oublierai pas de sitôt. Le séjour a été parfait, je serais ravie de revenir !
Brandschoon en zeer mooi appartement. Toplocatie, met parkeren voor de deur. Echt een natuurrijke omgeving en zeer dichtbij de ingang van het nationale park. Als je wilt kun je ook voor de deur zwemmen, of beneden in het restaurant een hapje eten (vis was heerlijk!). Al met al zeer fijn verblijf gehad. Bovenal complimenten aan de fantastische hosts.. een gezin wat samenwerkt, super vriendelijk en warm. Wij komen graag terug!
Ein sehr schönes, renoviertes Zimmer. Eine Minibar (ohne Inhalt) und ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Auf dem Flur eine gemeinsame Kitchenete mit Tellern, Gläsern und Spülbecken. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Vermieterin Jelena erfüllt jeden Wunsch und das immer mit einem Lächlen. Wir haben jeden Tag unseren Frühstückskaffee auf Zimmer serviert bekommen und dürften so den wunderbaren Meerblick vom Balkon genießen. Nochmal herzlichen Dank dafür. Wir haben auch sehr gerne jeden Abend bei der Familie einen Tisch zum Abendessen reserviert. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft. In einer vorherigen Bewertung habe ich über die Möglichkeit gelesen, vor dem Haus zu baden. Ich persönlich finde es gefährlich, weil die Treppe ins Meer äußerst rutschig ist. Es gibt viele andere Möglichkeiten im Nationalpark zu baden oder am Rand von Polače. Die Eintrittskarten für NP haben wir im Kiosk in Polače gekauft. 25,-€ pro Person für den ganzen Aufenthalt (eine Bootsrunde zur Insel sv. Marija ist dabei). Bei jedem betreten des NP muss man die Karten vorzeigen. In Pomena bei der Kontrolle mussten wir dann auf die Karten unsere Namen schreiben. Den Nationalpark haben wir mit unseren Fahrrädern ( ohne E) erkundet. Die Auffahrt von Polače zum Park schafft jeder durchschnittliches Fahrradfahrer. Im Park selbst sind die Strecken ohne Steigungen, ein Fahrrad ohne E ist ausreichend! Die Insel Mljet ist ein Natur-Paradies, es lohnt sich die ganze Insel anzuschauen, die Panoramablicke auf die Ortschaften sind berauschend. Unser Aufenthalt war auf jeden Fall auch dank Gastgeberin Jelena ein unvergessliches Erlebnis,ihr Lächeln und die Hingabe unseren Aufenthalt einfach perfekt zu machen bleiben immer in Erinnerung.
Posizione eccellente a nord dell isola di meleda.... disponibilità...cortesia...gentilezza della famiglia...(Ci hanno dato la possibilità di utilizzare la loro cucina per una caffettiera ...ci hanno chiamato un taxi)pulizia impeccabile...stanza piccola...ma dotata di tutto il necessario.... arredamento nuovo ...infissi nuovi...tutto super pulito. prima volta che mi sentivo a casa mia. Cibo squisito nel loro ristorante... grazie di tutto.

Stanza pulitissima,accogliente e moderna. C è uno splendido balcone che affaccia sul fiordo. L' aria condizionata è perfetta Proprietaria gentilissima con annesso ottimo ristorante a prezzi più che accettabili. Molto apprezzata la possibilità di noleggio bici per 10€ al giorno. La struttura è molto vicina all 'ingresso del percorso a piedi per raggiungere il parco .

Domaćini su bili jako ljubazni i uslužni, more je odmah ispod apartmana, gdje se može i kupati. Apartman je novouređeni, moderan i udoban! U prizemlju se nalazi i obiteljski restoran koji pruža velik izbor hrane za vrlo pristupačnu cijenu!
Polace est un petit village dans une baie très tranquille. Nous avions une chambre avec balcon et vue sur la baie et un studio pour deux jeunes adultes. L accueil des propriétaires est très sympathique nous avons mange tous les soirs dans leur restaurant. C était tres bon est le prix raisonable. Au palma appartement tout est très très propre et bien entretenus. Les chambres ont été entièrement rénovées. Je pense que se sont les meilleurs appartements de polace. Je recommande absolument. A 20 min à pieds on se baigne dans le lac c est merveilleux.
Perfect host. Very attentive and caring. Organised a mooring for our boat. Sweet and clean rooms, providing all essential facilities. Polače is a secluded, laid back village - perfect get away from the crowded & touristic places.

Wir sind von der Unterkunft begeistert. Sehr bequeme Betten, Apartment sauber. Unterkunftsgeber sehr freundlich, zukommend und fürsorglich. Meer vor der Tür. Restaurant im Untergeschoss mit leckerem, frischem Essen. Paar Schritte weiter gibt es eine Bäckerei und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Großes und kleines See mit Fahrrad oder Auto super erreichbar mit gratis Parkplatz. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert!
The pictures don't do this place justice: it's wonderfully situated, well furnished and recent. The place is peaceful. Our host is welcoming and helpful. You should definitely the family's restaurant: the food is as great as the place.
Jelena was very helpful with information before our stay and met us on arrival and arranged a taxi to Pomena on departure. The room was beautifully clean and as described, with a fantastic balcony overlooking the sea and Polace. Good shower and comfortable bed. The family restaurant downstairs serves good pasta, fish and meat and is reasonably priced. Polace is friendly with a number of places to eat, bakery, small supermarket, bike hire and small town beach and easy access to the National Park. We spent 5 days enjoying quiet swimming, cycling, walking and kayaking. Would recommend Apartments Palma for quiet, comfortable stay.
